One day, after explaining what I’m sure was some exquisitely boring grammatical detail, a boy leaned forward intently, chin on fist, and said,
“In other words, you just gotta grab them by the genitives and twist them till they conjugate.”

I think the boy is confusing his nouns and verbs… it should be “grab them by the genitives and twist them till they decline.”
you say tomato…….
